Hello!
My name is Mrs. Kjerstad and I am extremely blessed that God has led me back to teaching at a Catholic School! More importantly, I am thrilled to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun-filled year full of faith, learning, and new adventures. I want to know all about you and can't wait to meet you. Here are some facts about me. I grew up in De Smet, SD and I am the oldest of three. I have two younger brothers, Britton and Koby. Britton and his wife Katie live in Fort Worth, TX. Britton is an Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle pilot for BNSF. His wife, Katie, is a nurse in the Fort Worth's children infectious disease clinic. Koby will be a Junior at De Smet High School. I received my teaching degree from USD in 2014. I taught 6th grade at Sacred Heart School in Yankton, SD for one year. My husband and I moved to Pierre, SD where I taught 4th grade. I have moved down to Kindergarten and my heart has never been more full! I love teaching the tiniest kiddos of St. Elizabeth Seton. My husband’s name is Quincy and he is an Assistant Attorney General for the state of South Dakota. We have one daughter named Kynsli Kay. It has been fun watching her learn and grow! I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Let’s make it an awesome year!
